Jinguji Ren Q&A Session

Each of the 11 idols have a Q&A page adjacent to their solo interview page. There are 15 questions about private life and hypothetical situations, and the questions are the same for all characters.

Q1 What about you has changed compared to yourself from long ago?I’ve been told that I’ve gotten soft, haha. Was I that serious before? But if it means that I’ve become more approachable, it’s a good thing.

Q2 What is considered a precious possession to you?The bracelet I received from my butler, George. I wear it as a lucky charm. I got it quite long ago, but I cherish it.

Q3 About how many hours of sleep do you get on average?Maybe 6. But sometimes I get as few as five, it’s not really a set amount. I’m more of a night person, so it’s like I sleep when I’m sleepy.

Q4 What animal would you have as a pet?Maybe a cat. I like that they’re capricious and carefree. It’s beautiful how graceful their movements are, wouldn’t you agree? It’s so entrancing that I could watch them forever.

Q5 What physical feature do you like about yourself?My figure. Not meaning I like all of my body parts, but my physique and body shape. I’ve been told that people can tell that it’s me when looking from a distance.

Q6 If you could use a time machine, would you travel to the past or the future?The past. I want to visit an era that I don’t know. I’d like to see Japan, a foreign country would fine, too. I’m curious about how people lived long ago.

Q7 If you could do something else for just one day, what would it be?Since I like traveling, I’d wanna try a job where I could fly around the world. I also like taking pictures, so I’d probably like making a book out of the photos that I take.

Q8 What do you often spend time doing while you’re waiting around?I guess I’d say that I spend time doing non-work related things. Like reading magazines or playing games. Since I’d have the time I should take it to refresh my spirits.

Q9 If you were an animal, what would you be?I’d probably be a big cat like a black panther or a jaguar. A slightly dangerous atmosphere is cool, right? Rather than what animal I would be, I guess it's the animal I’d want to be.

Q10 What have you been into lately?I’ve been playing online games and games that I can play with other people. Rather than enjoying it by myself, it’s more of a communication tool for me.

Q11 What’s your favorite amusement park ride?A horror attraction. Thrills are stimulating. And if I go in with a lady, she might rely on me, right?

Q12 What item of stress-relief do you like?My photo albums. I gather the photos I took and look through them once in a while. Reviving the memories of that time makes me feel happy.

Q13 What place would you currently like to try visiting?There are so many that I can’t narrow it down. I often go out to places that I want to go to when I can, without being too decisive about it. Since I like traveling by myself.

Q14 What does work mean to you?It’s something that I can be totally absorbed in. If the ‘me' before I aimed to be an idol knew the ‘me’ of the present, I think he’d definitely be surprised. I’m that much engrossed in it.

Q15 What do fans mean to you?Love. I want to give ladies so much love, and I receive so much love from them. I think it’s a splendid relationship in which we can love each other.

Translator's Notes and Thoughts:

I can't remember if the 'bracelet' that his butler gave him is plural or not--I feel like it is but for the time being I left it as singular. My favorite answer was the one about him playing video games. I wonder what games he plays? ☆
